Weekly Recap: Hawaii Rainbow Warriors vs Arizona Wildcats

The Hawaii offense rolled up 595 yards of total offense, and the defense contributed 2 sacks and 2 INT’s as the Rainbow Warriors defeated the Arizona Wildcats 45-38.
Hawaii QB Cole McDonald completed 29 of 41 passes (70% comp. rate) for 378 yards and 4 TD’s and 4 INT’s. WR Cedric Byrd caught 14 passes for 225 yards and 4 TD’s. WR JoJo Ward caught 4 passes and 70 yards and 1 TD.
Arizona QB Khalil Tate accounted for 469 yards of total offense and 3 TD’s and 2 INT’s. RB J.J. Taylor ran for 67 yards on 14 carries and 1 TD. WR Jamarye Joiner caught 4 passes for 72 yards and 1 TD, and WR Stanley Berryhill caught 3 passes for 92 yards and 1 TD.
The Wildcat defense recorded 4 INT’s.
This game was a shootout and Arizona nearly won the game on a last second run by Tate, but he was stopped at the 1 yard line as time expired.
