The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly: Week 8

Here is a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from Week 8 in college football:


The Good

#16 SMU 45 – Temple 21: QB Shane Buechele had a career game as he passed for 457 yards and 6 TDs against Temple. WR Reggie Roberson caught 8 passes for 250 yards and 3 TDs, scoring on pass plays of 75, 60, and 33 yards. The Mustangs are 7-0 for the first time since 1982.


The Bad

Unranked Illinois 24 – #7 Wisconsin 23: Held the Badgers to just an FG in the 4th quarter, and kicked a GW FG with 0:00 on the clock. Wisconsin committed 3 turnovers in the game.


The Ugly

#15 Texas 50 – Unranked Kansas 48: Gave up 569 yards to Kansas, committed 2 turnovers, was penalized 8 times for 86 yards, and had to kick a GW FG with 0:00 time on the clock to win the game.
