The Good, Bad, And The Ugly: Week 3

Here is a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from Week 3:
The Good
#17 UCF steamrolled Pac-12 and Power 5 school Stanford 45-27. Led by freshman QB Dillon Gabriel, UCF gained 545 total yards. Gabriel was 22 of 30 passing for 347 yards and 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. 4 different UCF receivers caught touchdown passes. RB Greg McCrae rushed for 109 yards and a TD. Stanford did not score in the 2nd quarter.
The Bad
BYU beat #24 USC 30-27 in OT on a 43-yard FG. Both teams were scoreless in the 3rd quarter. The Trojans were held scoreless in the overtime period. Based on the stats, it was an evenly played game. The difference was turnovers: USC threw 3 INT’s. BYU had zero turnovers.
The Ugly
Unranked Arizona State goes on the road to beat #18 Michigan State 10-7. Both teams were scoreless in the 1st and 3rd quarter. The Sun Devils gained a total of 216 yards, 140 passing and 76 rushing. They recorded just 1 sack and 3 tackles for loss.
The Spartans gained 404 total yards and 23 first downs, but racked up 10 penalties for 91 yards. Michigans State recorded 4 sacks and 7 tackles for loss and had 1 turnover. The Sun Devils had zero turnovers.
