LSU Recruiting-Neville H.S. OT Will Campbell Commits to the Tigers
Will Campbell, an offensive tackle at Neville High School in Monroe, La. has committed to the LSU Tigers for the 2022 class. He chose the Tigers over a double-digit list of scholarship offers that included Alabama, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame.
At 6-6, 285 pounds, he is rated as the #2 recruit in LA for the 2022 class. He is the first offensive lineman to commit to this class. Campbell is the #6 offensive tackle in the country.
Campbell is the highest-rated O-linemen to come out of Louisiana since Cam Robinson in 2014.
As a multi-year starter at Neville, he combines mobility and strength as a consistently effective blocker.
For Campbell, he joins an LSU class that’s already deep with Louisiana talent. His close friend, Walker Howard, is on board at quarterback. LSU also has two receivers committed in Green Oaks wideout Decoldest Crawford and Edna Karr receiver Aaron Anderson. LSU also has a commitment from Acadiana cornerback Laterrance Welch. The Tigers have 19 verbal offers out to juniors in Louisiana’s 2022 class, which is the highest mark of Orgeron’s tenure when it comes to making moves on Louisiana’s best at this stage of the cycle.
