Broadmoor Bucs QB Brandon Thomas-Spotlight on Talent

Baton Rouge, LA-High school football in East Baton Rouge Parish is as talented as any area of the great State of Louisiana. At Broadmoor High, the Buccaneers have a grand tradition of producing talented football players through the years. In 2025, the Bucs return five starters on offense, led by quarterback Brandon Thomas.

Last season, Thomas accounted for 361 total yards and nine touchdowns in just four games played. More impressively, Thomas threw zero interceptions.

Thomas works hard on honing his craft at the most important position on the field. To stay in peak condition, Thomas does heavy workouts in the weight room three days a week in addition to two days of dynamic workouts. Every weekend, Thomas spends two hours with a quarterback trainer to become the best signal-caller he can be.

Thomas, along with teammate Jorge Alvarez, also earned an invitation to participate in the 2025 Gridiron Football All-American Bowl in late December. It is a golden opportunity to attend a prestigious event where Thomas can showcase his football skills in front of college coaches and the media, to gain exposure and to elevate his game.

Baton Rouge is loaded with talented quarterbacks and Brandon Thomas is among that group. Thomas and the Bucs kick off the 2025 season when they host the Springfield Bulldogs on Sep. 5.
