2000 Yards Rushing-A Common Feat in College Football?
Rushing for 2000+ yards in a season is more common than you think.
16 players have gained 2000 yards rushing in a season since 2000. Two players achieved that milestone in both 2000 and 2016. And in 2019, four topped the 2K mark on the ground. Another did it in back-to-back seasons.
However, since 2000 only one 2000-yard back has won the most coveted prize in college Football, the Heisman Trophy.
So, without further ado, here is the list.
